EA SPORTS FC 27 FC 27 Release Date and Early Access

Worldwide launch: Friday 25 September 2026. Ultimate and Ultimate Plus early access: Friday 18 September 2026 (up to seven days). Steam storefronts may show 24 September evening in US time zones; EA’s global messaging is the 25th. If your library says 24 Sep 23:00 UTC, that is the same launch, not a secret day-early Standard unlock.

Early access (18 September)

Who gets in:

• Ultimate Edition
• Ultimate Plus (if you bought it in the 23 July–31 August window)
• EA Play Pro, described as day-one / Ultimate-tier access
• EA Play (standard) 10-hour trial, with EA highlighting The Grounds as the trial space

Who waits until the 25th: Standard, anyone whose Plus window closed without a purchase, and FC 27 Lite users (Lite is a launch-day Kick-Off preview, not early access).

Pre-load when your store offers it. Downloading 100 GB at 17:59 UTC is how you miss the window. PC players should finish EA app linking before the 18th — see system requirements.

Launch day (25 September)

Standard unlocks. FC 27 Lite goes live at 16:00 UTC on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Series, EA App, Steam, and Epic. Nintendo is not in that Lite sentence in EA’s FAQ. Lite is Kick-Off, upgradeable to the full game. Step-by-step: Kick-Off and Lite.

Dual Entitlement: last-gen copies can download current-gen on the same family without a second fee. The Grounds still needs the current-gen install. See The Grounds.

Regional staggered dates

Wikipedia and regional publishers have listed later street dates for some Asian SKUs (Korea around 2 October, Vietnam later, China later still, with Tencent / Nexon / Garena as regional publishers in those markets). If you are buying a disc in those territories, trust the local rating board date over the global 25 September trailer. Digital worldwide is the 25th in EA’s own FAQ.
